Omniboost has made a new accounting connection live: an integration between HotelKey PMS and Sage Intacct. The news was announced by Omniboost in a LinkedIn post shared by Roel Hamelink, who invited hotels using that combination to contact him for a walkthrough.
What the integration does
For properties running HotelKey as their PMS and Sage Intacct as their accounting system, financial data from the PMS now flows into Sage automatically each day. According to Omniboost, the integration covers:
- automated transfer of revenue and payment data;
- VAT and tax information passed through configured ledger accounts;
- statistical data such as arrivals, departures and occupancy;
- flexible mapping of ledger accounts, cost centers and journal elements;
- daily automated transfers aligned with HotelKey's end-of-day settings;
- validation checks for duplicate journal entries and business dates.

Posting PMS figures into an accounting platform is often a manual, repetitive task, especially for hotels that manage several properties or run month-end close under time pressure. Omniboost says connecting the two systems lets finance teams reduce manual data handling, improve consistency between operational and accounting records, and streamline accounting workflows and month-end closing.
The duplicate-entry and business-date validation is designed to stop the same day's figures from being posted twice or against the wrong date, a common source of reconciliation work.
