RateGain announced on 18 August 2026 that VIETJET QAZAQSTAN has chosen AirGain, its airfare pricing intelligence platform, to obtain real-time competitive insight and sharpen pricing across key routes.
Why the airline is moving
As VIETJET QAZAQSTAN expands in Central Asia, it is entering a market where fares move quickly and competition is intensifying. Rather than working from delayed or fragmented data, the carrier wants pricing decisions backed by live competitive signals.
With AirGain, its commercial teams can:
- Track fare movements across multiple channels
- Benchmark against competitors in real time
- Identify pricing gaps before they affect performance
- Spot emerging trends across routes and assess competitive positioning more consistently
RateGain says this reduces the manual effort of tracking fare changes, giving revenue teams more time for strategy. The airline will also gain access to AirGain's developing AI capabilities, including automated insights that flag anomalies, demand shifts and route-level opportunities.
What they said
Igor Chernyavskiy, Head of Pricing & Revenue Management Section at VIETJET QAZAQSTAN, said that as the airline scales, being able to see and respond to market changes instantly "becomes a real advantage", adding that AirGain gives teams the clarity and speed to stay competitive while still offering value to passengers.
Vinay Varma, Senior Vice President and General Manager at AirGain, said airlines today struggle less with a lack of data than with "timing and clarity", and that the focus with VIETJET QAZAQSTAN is enabling faster decisions with the right context.
About the airline
VIETJET QAZAQSTAN was founded in 2015 as QAZAQ AIR and rebranded in 2025 after a strategic investment from Vietnam's Sovico Group. It is an IATA member and has held IOSA safety certification since 2018.
