RateGain Travel Technologies has published its results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, ended 30 June 2026. Announced on 6 August 2026, the numbers show operating revenue of INR 785.0 crore, up 187.6% from INR 272.9 crore a year earlier.
Headline figures
- Adjusted EBITDA rose 289.3% to INR 193.4 crore, an adjusted margin of 24.6% and the company's highest quarterly EBITDA to date
- Reported EBITDA was INR 171.5 crore, a 21.9% margin
- Adjusted PAT grew 148.8% to INR 116.8 crore; reported PAT was INR 94.9 crore
- Free cash flow reached INR 135.2 crore, a conversion rate of 78.8%
RateGain adjusts EBITDA and PAT for deferred deal consideration linked to its acquisition of Sojern, an expense that runs for three years until Q3 FY29. The company also said it has repaid 25% of its acquisition-related debt.
What drove the quarter
RateGain pointed to firm travel demand across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific, although recovery in the Middle East has not yet taken hold. In the US, the FIFA World Cup gave a direct boost to travel. RateGain's Destinations business benefited as destination marketing organizations expanded co-op programs and jointly funded campaigns with travel partners to attract visitors around the tournament. Steady bookings meant customers could react quickly to shifting demand while generating more transactions and intent signals on RateGain's platform.
Asia-Pacific delivered its best quarter ever, led by record new property sign-ups on the Sojern platform plus continued momentum in bookings and client engagement. RateGain said sustained investment in the region is paying off.
Priorities for FY27
Having completed the first phase of the Sojern integration, RateGain plans to accelerate its go-to-market approach this year, targeting cross-selling across the combined customer base and further geographic expansion. It is also deepening data partnerships with major travel brands to extend the reach of its travel-intent data.
