Hotelogix, a leading provider of cloud-based hospitality technology solutions, today announced that Grand Continent Hotels Ltd., an India-based hotel chain, has adopted its enterprise-grade multi-property management system to enable centralised, group-wide operations. With Hotelogix as its technology foundation, the group also plans to accelerate expansion by rapidly onboarding new properties.
Headquartered in Bangalore, Grand Continent Hotels
Ltd. (NSE SME: GCHOTELS) operates 25 properties with over 1,200 rooms, serving
value-conscious travellers. The group manages 12 properties directly (11 in
India and one in Dubai), while the remaining properties are affiliated with
another Indian group.
Driven by an asset-light model and the motto “Crafting
Comfort. Scaling Smart.”, the mid-scale brand aims to reach 5,000 rooms by
2028. In FY25, the company reported strong growth, with operational income
rising 132.5% year-on-year to approximately ₹7,262 lakhs, and EBITDA increasing 94% to ₹1,918 lakhs (26.41% margin). Despite
portfolio expansion, occupancy stood at 61%, with ARR increasing to ₹3,830 (from ₹3,410) and RevPAR reaching ₹2,447.
Previously, Grand Continent Hotels Ltd. operated on an
on-premises system that limited its ability to centrally manage group
operations. As the business scaled, this became a bottleneck, restricting
access to a unified view of performance across properties. This prompted the
group to modernise its technology stack.
“Upgrading to Hotelogix is about future-proofing our
business with centralised operations, standardised processes, and real-time
visibility into KPIs,” said Abhijeet Shrivastava, Chief Operating Officer at
Grand Continent Hotels Ltd. “As a listed company, we also required a solution
that supports compliance and ensures data security. Hotelogix meets these
requirements.”
Abhijeet added that the team was particularly
impressed with the speed of implementation. “Our 122-room Dubai property went
live in just 10–12 days, fully compliant with DTCM-CID requirements from day
one.”
Speaking about the group’s expansion plans across
domestic and international markets, he added: “We expect Hotelogix to support
our goal of reaching 5,000 rooms by 2028, while helping us reduce IT overhead
costs.”
“Grand Continent Hotels Ltd. is a strong example of
how hotel brands in India are leveraging cloud technology to achieve their
growth objectives,” said Sivaprasad Gangadharan, Chief Sales Officer at
Hotelogix. “As their technology partner, we are proud to support their growth
journey.”
