Fairmas has introduced a new integration with M3, extending its connectivity with hotel accounting systems. The one-way API integration automatically transfers actual financial data from M3 Accounting into Fairmas FairPlanner.
How it works
Once configured, actuals are imported directly into FairPlanner without manual file exports, uploads or imports. Finance teams therefore have current financial information available for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Less time moving data
Preparing data for planning and reporting often involves repetitive manual steps that slow processes and introduce inconsistencies. Automating the transfer removes that recurring work so teams can focus on analysing results, tracking performance and supporting decisions.
"Hotel finance teams spend far too much of their day moving data instead of interpreting it," says Casi Johnson, Chief Strategy Officer at M3. "By connecting M3 Accounting directly to Fairmas, we remove that manual step entirely — actuals flow automatically, and our customers get to spend their time on the analysis that drives decisions."
Connecting accounting and planning
Fairmas says the integration brings accounting data and FP&A closer together. "Strong financial planning starts with reliable actual data," says Oliver Rabe, CCO at Fairmas. "Our integration with M3 brings accounting and FP&A closer together, giving hotel finance teams a more connected foundation for budgeting, forecasting and reporting."
With actuals available automatically, reports and analyses across an organisation can draw on consistent, up-to-date figures.
The outcome
According to Fairmas, the integration improves the availability and consistency of financial data and supports more efficient planning and reporting. Together, the two companies aim to give hotel finance teams a seamless link between accounting and FP&A, reducing manual effort, improving data quality and enabling better-informed financial decisions.
Who benefits
Hotels and groups that use M3 for accounting and Fairmas for planning can now keep their forecasts and management reports aligned with the latest actuals without maintaining manual export routines.
