Blastness, the Italian provider of technology and services for hotel digital growth, has announced that it will take part in Travel Expo Hurghada 2026, taking place on 28 September 2026 at Long Beach Resort in Hurghada, Egypt.
A new home on the Red Sea
After two editions held in Cairo, the event is relocating to Hurghada. According to Blastness, the move is intended to establish Travel Expo as Egypt's leading event dedicated to the hospitality and travel technology sectors, held directly in the destination where many of the country's hotels, resorts and travel agencies operate. Hurghada, on the Red Sea coast, is described by Blastness as Egypt's largest tourist destination.
What's on the agenda
The programme will cover topics central to hotel commercial performance, including:
- sales;
- marketing;
- revenue management;
- artificial intelligence;
- digital transformation.
Holding the event in a resort destination places these discussions close to the properties and travel businesses that put them into practice day to day.
Blastness's participation
Blastness confirmed it will be present at the event and invited hoteliers and industry contacts to meet its team there. The company, which focuses on helping hotels strengthen their direct booking channels through booking technology, distribution, digital marketing and related services, did not publish details of specific sessions in its announcement.
Why it matters
Egypt's resort hotels, particularly along the Red Sea, are increasingly looking at digital tools to manage distribution and capture demand from international markets. An event focused specifically on hospitality and travel technology in Hurghada gives regional hoteliers direct access to technology providers and to discussions on sales, revenue and AI without travelling to Cairo or abroad.
Hoteliers attending Travel Expo Hurghada can arrange to meet Blastness at Long Beach Resort on 28 September 2026.
