Blastness, an Italian provider of technology and services for hotel digital growth, has partnered with global financial technology platform Adyen to launch BlastnessPay, a payments solution for automating and managing online and in-person hotel payments. Already running for several months at major Italian hotels, it was officially presented at the TTG trade fair in Rimini on 14 to 16 October 2026.
Payments at the core
BlastnessPay brings payments into the Blastness Suite alongside revenue management, distribution and commercial tools. It manages payments from the hotel website, CRM and OTAs together with on-property transactions, including brandable POS terminals. Native integration with Blastness's CRS applies each hotel's deadlines and policies automatically, handling collections, pre-authorisations and refunds. Hotels can set up instalment rate products at no extra cost, and the system automates OTA virtual credit card handling. It integrates with major PMSs, including Oracle Hospitality OPERA.
Security and compliance
The platform supports PSD2-compliant processes and prepares hotels for PSD3. Tokenisation protects card data, while authentication and risk tools guard against fraud. The companies cite Adyen's Hospitality & Travel Report 2025, in which 35% of surveyed Italian accommodation providers saw a significant rise in attempted fraud.
Guest experience
Payment happens within the booking flow without redirects. The companies cite industry estimates that up to 22% of online bookings fail at multi-factor authentication. Cards, wallets, bank transfers and local methods are supported; Adyen offers more than 200 payment methods.
About Adyen
Listed in Amsterdam, Adyen reported 2025 net revenue above €2.36 billion and processed almost €1.4 trillion; clients include Booking.com, Hilton and Belmond.
Comments
Andrea Delfini, Founder and CEO of Blastness, says the goal is to turn "one of the most complex areas of hotel operations into an integrated, high-performance technology solution." Gabriele Bellezze, Country Manager, Adyen Italy, says payments are now "an essential component of the guest experience and operational efficiency."
