Hotelogix, a globally
leading cloud-based hospitality technology provider, announced that The Curve
Hotel, with 602 apartments in Qatar, has migrated to its enterprise-grade Hotel
Property Management System (Hotel PMS). The move aims to streamline
business processes, drive growth, and reduce overall IT-related costs.
Inspired by the elegant
curve of Doha's renowned Corniche, The Curve Hotel’s design captures the city’s
essence with stunning panoramic views. Its contemporary interior creates a
cozy, pleasant environment for guests. The hotel operates 602 well-appointed
apartments, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites, all meeting
top global quality standards. The property enjoys excellent rankings and
positive guest feedback on online platforms.
According to Mohamed Chebil,
General Manager of The Curve Hotel, the property previously used an on-premises
solution to manage operations. However, this system no longer supported their
ability to keep up with the competitive business environment and did not
provide the necessary control over their operations. Additionally, the old
system lacked the ability to implement modern technologies that could meet the
evolving expectations of today’s travelers—from booking to the in-house
experience—while reducing operational costs.
“With a 602-apartment
property, our operational needs are complex, and we needed to switch to a Cloud
PMS that could handle a wide range of operations,” Chebil explained. “We were
looking for an enterprise-grade solution that could easily migrate to the cloud.
We also needed the solution integrated with SITA to share guest data with Qatar
Tourism in real-time.” Chebil added, “We found our match with Hotelogix, which
not only met our operational needs but also demonstrated a clear understanding
of how to migrate us smoothly to the cloud, going live within three weeks.”
Hotelogix’s team onboarded
The Curve Hotel within three weeks, including data migration from the old
on-premises system and staff training. The property also received the Mobile
Hotel PMS App, enabling access to hotel data and KPIs on the go.
